Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with applicable regulations
- Counsel patients on the proper use, potential side effects, and interactions of medications
- Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient medication therapy
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Washington
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent degree
- Knowledge of retail/drug store pharmacy operations and workflows
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a retail or drug store pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and point-of-sale systems
