    Job Title

    Travel Pharmacist – Nights (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 24-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed within a high-acuity hospital pharmacy setting
    • Support complex patient populations including Trauma, Burn, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Cardiac Surgery, and ECMO
    • Apply advanced pharmacokinetic dosing including Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycoside dosing, and Renal dosing protocols
    • Manage anticoagulation therapies including warfarin, enoxaparin, heparin, and DOACs, as well as electrolyte protocols
    • Utilize documentation and dispensing systems including Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, and C2 Safe
    • Operate within a 463-bed facility as part of a tenured pharmacy team, with access to clinical resources including Sanford Guide, Lexicomp, Uptodate, and Neofax
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Virginia State Pharmacist License required
    • Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
    • Proficiency with Dose Edge IV workflow system
    • Proficiency with Pyxis automated dispensing system
    • Experience with Meditech and Vigilanz documentation platforms
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with complex patient populations including Trauma, Burn, Critical Care, and ECMO
    • Advanced pharmacokinetic dosing experience (Vancomycin AUC, Aminoglycosides, Renal dosing)
    • Familiarity with anticoagulation management protocols (warfarin, enoxaparin, heparin, DOACs)
    • Experience utilizing clinical decision support resources such as Lexicomp, Uptodate, Neofax, or Sanford Guide
