Pharmacist
Job Details:
• Night shift hours from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM and evening shift hours from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
• No floating policy required
• Work with complex patients including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatric, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases
• Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed
• Dose Edge IV experience required
• Pyxis experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience required
• Vigilanz experience required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Advanced skills required: Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycoside dosing, Renal dosing, Warfarin, Enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, Heparin, and DOAC management
• Virginia State Pharmacist license required
• Scrubs in silver/purple preferred
• Resources available include Sanford Guide, Uptodate, Vancomycin AUC calculator, Briggs, and LexiDrug
