Pharmacist
Job Details:
• Night shift hours: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM; Evening shift hours: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
• Work in a hospital pharmacy setting with complex patients including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases
• Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed
• Experience with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz documentation systems required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
• Advanced skills required: Vancomycin AUC dosing, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC management
• Virginia State Pharmacist license required
• Scrubs in silver/purple preferred
• No floating policy
• Available resources include Sanford Guide, Clinical Key, UpToDate, Vancomycin AUC calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp
