    Travel: Pharmacist – Acute Care Pharmacy (Nights)

    Springfield, Missouri

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 7 on / 7 off (Thursday–Wednesday, may vary) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee and coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy, serving as the primary pharmacist for central pharmacy operations during the night shift
    • Verify and check medication products using EPIC Dispense Prep, including IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, and other items as needed
    • Inspect and verify that code carts and crash carts have been restocked correctly
    • Check kits, prepacked items, and other pharmacy supplies as required
    • Oversee the workflow of surrounding pharmacy technicians and redirect them to pertinent tasks as needed
    • Perform weekend and on-call duties as required by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Missouri Pharmacist Licensure
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience; new graduates will be considered
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Dispense Prep)
    • Flu vaccination or an approved exemption required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an acute care or central pharmacy setting
    • Familiarity with product verification workflows including IV preparation and code cart checks
    • Experience working alongside and directing pharmacy technician teams
