Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating Shift | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities- Verify and fill orders for medications in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide clinical drug information
- Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
- Document all clinical interactions for medical review
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
- Apply age-specific awareness when working with pediatric and neonatal patient populations
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
- Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years, with current active Epic experience required
- Must pass IV training
- Familiarity with pediatric and neonatal age groups required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Minimum one year of technical pharmacy experience
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
