Key Responsibilities- Verify and fill orders for medications in a retail pharmacy setting
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information
- Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
- Document all patient interactions for medical review
- Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- All licensures and certifications required to fulfill Pharmacist duties at the state level
- Retail pharmacy experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or HeartCode BLS (HBLS) or Healthstream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or HeartCode ACLS (HACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or HeartCode PALS (HPALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- One year of technical pharmacy experience
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
