Key Responsibilities- Provide central pharmacy services within an acute care hospital setting
- Dispense and verify medications accurately in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to support patient care across a range of specialty services
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Support pharmacy operations during assigned shift, contributing to efficient and safe medication management
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in the state of Virginia
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience
- Experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy environment
- Ability to work a 10-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Willingness to comply with facility orientation requirements prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel pharmacy experience in an acute care setting
- Familiarity with specialty service lines such as surgical, cardiac, or intensive care pharmacy support
- Experience with robotic or automated pharmacy dispensing systems
