Pharmacist – Outpatient Oncology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities- Verify and process oncology medication orders using Epic, including treatment and therapy plan entry and review
- Answer provider and patient questions regarding chemotherapy regimens and oncology medications
- Check and supervise pharmacy technician work during compounding of sterile hazardous and non-hazardous infusions
- Log compounding activities via dispense prep and camera systems within Epic
- Dispense medications from a dedicated satellite pharmacy and Pyxis system
- Operate independently as the primary pharmacist within the outpatient oncology infusion clinic
Required Qualifications- Active Colorado Pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year of dedicated oncology pharmacy experience (outpatient clinic or inpatient oncology specialist role)
- Proficiency with Epic for order verification, treatment plan management, and compounding documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site clinical support
Preferred Experience / Skills- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification preferred
- Experience in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
- Familiarity with sterile hazardous drug compounding protocols and cleanroom requirements
