OverviewPharmacist – Inpatient in Westwood, New Jersey. Start date: 10/06/2026. Travel - temporary assignment for multiple weeks. Weekly pay: $2,899–$3,129. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 5x8 days with either 7:00am–3:30pm or 11:00am–7:30pm. Inpatient pharmacist role supporting a hospital-based inpatient pharmacy in a community hospital setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,899–$3,129 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0 per week- Duration: Weeks (travel assignment)- Shift: 7:00am–3:30pm or 11:00am–7:30pm; 5x8 days- Start date: 10/06/2026- Setting: Inpatient pharmacy in a community hospital setting in Westwood, NJ- On-call: 1 week on-call every 3 weeks- Orientation: 40 hours onsite; onboarding items completed onsiteResponsibilities- Provide inpatient pharmaceutical care for a patient population spanning neonates to geriatrics, including antibiotics and anticoagulation management, within an inpatient setting.- Perform dosing adjustments and therapeutic drug monitoring for renal, geriatric, and oncologic patients; manage high-alert medications with safety protocols.- Compound and dispense sterile IV medications (IV piggyback/IV push) under sterile technique; maintain accurate documentation.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV teams, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transportation) and ensure timely medication-related communication.- Document all clinical activities in the Epic electronic health record; participate in daily rounds and ensure accurate and complete charting.- Manage Pyxis inventory and contribute to medication safety initiatives and appropriate resource utilization.Requirements- Active pharmacist license in hand (state or compact) at time of submittal- Pharmacist degree: PharmD or RPh- BLS certification- Epic experience required; inpatient infusion experience preferred; 1 year of clinical experience minimum- Community hospital experience preferred; travel experience not required- Ability to work in a hospital/inpatient setting and participate in on-call rotation as described- Pre-approved time off: 1 per contract; onboarding items/labs completed within 48 hours of contract signingBenefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- Onsite orientation: 40 hours- Onboarding: core items/labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract- Pre-approved time off included per contractFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t the perfect fit, explore other pharmacist travel openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
