Description:
Located amongst oak trees, this facility has been serving the local community since 1977.
Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, the team provides exceptional care in various medical and surgical services.
Locals enjoy farmers markets, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just a short drive away.
Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs.
Assists and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Fills and delivers unit dose cassettes from the patients' profiles to nursing units.
Pulls medications from stock and matches them with the corresponding labels generated by the pharmacist.
Maintains floor stock by restocking, removing expired medications, and rotating stock in nursing and medication areas.
Prices and stocks incoming deliveries.
Prepares IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations.
Checks in orders from wholesalers and suppliers.
Distributes stock appropriately and files paperwork; processes returns and back orders in a timely manner.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
