Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $30 - $37/ hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week assignment in a high-volume oncology clinic. The ideal candidate will have recent oncology pharmacy experience, including hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding, and be committed to delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications according to physician orders.
  • Perform sterile compounding of chemotherapy and hazardous medications in compliance with USP and safety standards.
  • Prepare, package, label, and distribute pharmaceuticals accurately.
  • Maintain medication inventory and assist with stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital pharmacy regulations.
  • Utilize proper safety procedures when handling hazardous medications.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to support quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and medication records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician registration in the State of Georgia (required).
  • Required experience with hazardous drug handling and chemotherapy compounding.
  • Oncology pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume outpatient or oncology clinic preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medication preparation, inventory management, and pharmacy safety standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
