Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Tech, you will play a critical role in supporting pharmacists by accurately filling orders, preparing extemporaneous preparations, and managing inventory. You will handle distribution and returns, assist with sterile preparations, and ensure the efficient operation of automated dispensing machines. Additionally, you will contribute to performance improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years)
- Previous oncology/infusion center experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
