Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Able to work independently under the direction of the Pharmacist In Charge or Lead Travel Pharmacy Technician
  • Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities
  • Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS)
  • Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS
  • Assist with trouble shoot ADS issues
  • Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines
  • Prepacks medications
  • Handle foils medication into blister cards
  • Maintain active communication with PIC and Lead and pharmacy staff
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
  • Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory
  • Restock depleted inventor
  • Monthly audits (cycle count)
  • Provide reports for the facility
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician required
  • Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
  • Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Basic math and analytical skills

Shift:
Monday - Friday
8:00am-4:30pm
