Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution.

• Prepare medications accurately according to pharmacy policies and physician orders.

• Perform IV compounding using appropriate sterile-compounding procedures.

• Stock, refill, and manage medications using Omnicell automated dispensing systems.

• Maintain accurate medication inventory and identify expired or low-stock medications.

• Support medication deliveries and distribution throughout hospital departments.

• Maintain appropriate documentation and pharmacy records.

• Follow sterile technique, infection-prevention standards, and medication-safety procedures.

• Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain an organized and compliant hospital pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required

• Minimum 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience

• Hospital pharmacy experience required

• IV compounding experience required

• Hands-on Omnicell experience required

• Comfortable working in an acute-care/hospital pharmacy environment

• Strong attention to detail and medication-safety practices

• Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced pharmacy team
