Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Must work 2 weekend shifts per month on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Work across multiple floors and units within a large hospital environment, including trauma, neuroscience, ICU, burn, oncology, and orthopedic/spine floors
• Utilize therapy equipment including walking aids, bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills to support patient rehabilitation
• Document patient care and progress using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team including OT and ST staff under day-shift supervision

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Candidates without acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience will not be considered
• Candidates whose experience consists solely of skilled nursing facilities, outpatient settings, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity environment such as a Level 1 Trauma Center, neuroscience unit, ICU, burn unit, or oncology setting
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar hospital EMR systems
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume therapy department
