Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing orthopedic acute care services within a healthcare facility setting. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing a diverse patient caseload in an inpatient environment, with an emphasis on elective joint, trauma, and neurological patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Saturday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours); Sunday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9 hours); Monday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM (11 hours); Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM (11 hours); minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: IL license in Physical Therapy; 1+ year orthopedic acute care experience required; experience with acute care elective joint and trauma patients along with acute care neurological physical therapy (strokes, spine surgery).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training, scheduled only on the first and third Wednesday or Thursday of each month. The assignment begins as soon as possible with a start date of 08/23/2026. No floating, weekend, or holiday coverage required beyond scheduled hours.
