Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) in Navasota, Texas. This position involves delivering quality therapy services within an inpatient acute care setting, performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and participating in discharge planning. The role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team and adherence to professional standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends and no call required; minimal for float to outpatient or inpatient care.
• Required Qualifications: Texas and national license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, and valid license to submit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: The department features a supportive nursing and therapy staff. The caseload includes general PT cases such as fractures, orthopedic injuries, neuro cases (10-15%), and amputations. The unit has two full-time staff PTs, with any specialized cases managed at a sister facility. The facility treats skilled nursing patients with an average length of stay of 14 days, and services are delivered in compliance with the organizations mission and policies.
