**Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Qualifications:** - Education: Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program - Experience: Working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting - Licenses/Certifications: - Current Physical Therapist state license - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire - **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:** - Strong documentation skills - Excellent verbal communication - Satisfactory patient service delivery - Team player mentality - Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care - **Position Summary:** - Plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients regain physical function after accidents or surgeries - Manage pain for those with degenerative conditions or terminal diseases - Collaborate with other therapists for optimal patient outcomes - 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient - **PT Responsibilities:** - Consult with patients about conditions, symptoms, medical history, and referrals - Diagnose movement dysfunction via observation and patient interactions - Develop individualized treatment plans - Coach patients with therapeutic exercises and stretches - Use hands-on therapy techniques, including massage, for pain relief - Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, and progress - Report progress to family members, providers, and patient care committees - Perform additional duties as assigned - **Professional Communication:** - Maintain confidentiality regarding patient/family/staff matters - Interact sensitively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds - Provide information to reduce anxiety and convey empathy - Foster professional relationships within the healthcare team - Communicate effectively with peers and care providers - Report security concerns to supervisors - **Teamwork:** - Accept assignments based on priority and skill set - Collaborate with care providers to ensure effective patient care - Report on patient conditions to relevant staff - Engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution with peers - Punctuality and adherence to scheduled hours - **Professional Development:** - Attend in-services and continuing education opportunities - Contribute to peer performance reviews as requested - Respond proactively to opportunities for improvement in care and customer service **Shift Information:** - 8 or 9 hours/day, 4 days per week **Minimum Years of Experience:** - Less than 1 year **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
