The successful candidate will work days on an 8-hour shift schedule, with a focus on acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), and inpatient rehabilitation settings, including potential home health experience. The position supports a dynamic team dedicated to patient-centered care in a recognized healthcare complex.
Job Details:
- Location: Atlantis, FL
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification, at least 1 year of recent hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or SNF experience; ability to work varied day shift hours
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Unit Information: 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a multidisciplinary team including director, lead physical therapist, physical therapist, and physical therapist assistants; patient ratios vary based on volume
- Typical Procedures: Inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and general medical/surgical patients
- Equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes
- EMR: Meditech

- Schedule is determined by surgical volume, weekends, and holiday rotation
- Dress code requires grey scrubs; unacceptable attire is any clothing outside the specified uniform
