**Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - 13-week assignment - Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM - No on-call requirements - Rotating weekends every 3 to 4 weekends **Unit Information:** - **Location:** Heart Hospital of Austin, 3801 N. Lamar, Austin, Texas 78756 - **Number of Beds:** 72 - **Staffing:** - 2 Physical Therapists - 1 Occupational Therapist - PRN Speech Therapist - **Electronic Medical Records:** Meditech **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - Acute care experience, including ICU/CCU, as you may be the only PT on weekends - CWS-Certified Wound Specialist or Board Certification in Wound Care - Experience with LVAD, Impella, Balloon Pump, and cardiac surgeries - **Preferred Skills:** - Wound care experience (preferred but not essential) **Additional Information:** - **Typical Procedures:** - Open heart surgeries - TAVR procedures - LVAD implants - **Best Personality Fit:** - Respectful and caring towards managers, patients, and staff - Strong attention to safety - Excellent time management skills - Capable of high-level coordination and communication - **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Caribbean blue or khaki bottoms with navy polo - **Work Environment:** - Small hospital with strong communication among providers and therapy teams - Supportive staff, with two PTs having 15 and 30+ years of experience - Access to Imobile for streamlined communication **Awards/Recognition:** - Multiple local and national awards in 2023/2024 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
