Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). Contract duration of 13-26 weeks available.

Highlights:

• Acute care setting in a 212-bed community hospital with comprehensive rehabilitation services
• Treat a diverse patient population including total joint replacements, cardiac surgery, fractures, general medical, and post-stroke rehabilitation
• Work with adult and geriatric populations across multiple units including ER, ICU, and Medical-Surgical
• Utilize Epic charting system in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
• Free parking provided
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of experience

Requirements:

• Active California Physical Therapy license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care physical therapy experience
• Experience with home exercise programs, gait training, assistive devices, and patient/family education
• Proficiency in treating orthopedic conditions, cardiac patients (COPD, CHF, CABG, MI), and post-stroke rehabilitation
• Strong skills in evaluation, discharge planning, and developing plans of care
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
