Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services within a clinical therapy setting. This role involves assisting Physical Therapists in delivering treatment plans, providing therapeutic exercises, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
The PTA will work closely with the rehabilitation team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care while promoting optimal recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training under PT supervision
Monitor patient progress and report changes in functional status
Document treatment sessions and patient responses in EMR systems
Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and therapeutic activities
Educate patients on prescribed exercise programs and safety techniques
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
State-issued identification required
