Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a travel contract in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist the Physical Therapist in delivering treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Current BLS certification (if required).
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
