Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Position Overview

As a PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve strength, mobility, and independence. You’ll play a key role in guiding recovery and promoting better quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans designed by the PT

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional training

• Monitor and document patient progress

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety

• Collaborate with rehab staff to adjust care plans as needed

• Maintain a safe, supportive treatment environment

Qualifications:

• Active IL PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Current BLS certification

• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
