Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care and help patients improve mobility, strength, and independence.
Key Responsibilities - Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements - Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
