Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and 2 years overall clinical experience for a day-shift position with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Details

• Home health setting covering geriatric patients, wound care, and general home health cases
• Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a 40-hour guarantee
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• On-call is discretionary and not required
• May be asked to cover surrounding counties in addition to primary territory
• Charting completed using Kinnser/Wellsky and must be done onsite in the clinic, not taken home
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (not to or from home)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience required
• State license required in hand at time of consideration; no license hits accepted; license required if applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Current driver's license required
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance
• OASIS experience preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted; must have valid license in hand at time of consideration

• Contract length is 4-6 months, with less experienced clinicians required to complete a 6-month term
