Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment supporting the Morris County region, requiring an active NJ PT license.

Details

• Home health setting supporting the Morris County region
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM, no weekends required
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the Morris County region
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ license to practice Physical Therapy required if applicable
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• 0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred
• Home health experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Acute care experience in a large academic medical setting preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing plans of care, providing interventions, patient and family education, documentation, and billing
• Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercises independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision
