Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (IP) position located in Margate, Florida. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services in a 281-bed hospital unit. The therapist will be responsible for evaluations, treatments, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and activities, working primarily during daytime hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida Physical Therapist License, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in inpatient or similar settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments, proficiency with Meditech documentation system, and quick learning ability.
• Additional Information: The department is highly cohesive and engaged, with a positive atmosphere. Staff work the day shift, and patient-to-therapist ratios are typically 8-10 patients over an 8-hour shift. The unit uses equipment such as walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs. Call by 7:00am is required.
