Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute inpatient hospital position requiring MA licensure, CPR certification, and inpatient PT experience.

Details

• Acute inpatient setting within the Physical Therapy Inpatient unit
• 8-hour day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with flexible Saturday hours
• 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Works as part of an interdisciplinary team treating patients with a wide variety of diagnoses

Requirements

• MA license required if applicable
• CPR certification required
• Inpatient PT experience required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing plans of care, and providing treatment for a wide variety of diagnoses
• Provides patient, family, and caregiver education
• Completes all documentation to ensure accurate and timely information
• Requires a high degree of professionalism and flexibility
• Orientation occurs every other week
• Candidates must provide interview availability at time of consideration
• All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
