Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an Inpatient Rehab unit requiring hospital experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit with 15 beds
• Multidisciplinary team including PT/PTA, OT/COTA, and rehab tech staff
• Patient ratio of up to 5 patients
• Day shift schedule with 5 8-hour shifts over 13 weeks
• Uses basic lift equipment and standard therapy equipment
• Meditech EMR system used for documentation
• May float to other areas within the Acute Care Hospital

Requirements

• Hospital experience required
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• CARE scoring experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Performs evaluations and treatments including Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
