Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring at least 1 year of inpatient PT experience.

Details

• 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
• Treats patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours with weekend hours as needed
• Patient ratio of 6 patients per therapist
• Uses EPIC/UDS for documentation
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred; no new graduates
• Inpatient experience required (IRF, SNF, or Acute setting)
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Active licensure/Nursys verification required at time of submission

Additional Information

• Facility holds Joint Commission Certification with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury programs
• Facility is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Certified
• Dress code includes any color scrub bottoms with a blue or slate gray dri-fit or polo top (not a scrub top), and a black or gray zip-up jacket if needed
• Weekend shifts are on request
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
