Job Description

The Physical Therapy unit is comprised of approximately 40 staff members providing care in a facility with 467 beds, including a new 26-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF). The selected candidate will engage in long treatment sessions and participate in team conferences while maintaining patient care with a 1:1 ratio.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Administer therapy interventions based on individual patient needs.
  • Participate in team conferences to coordinate care efforts.
  • Utilize specialized equipment including treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current Physical Therapist license in Florida.
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.
