Currently we are searching for a Travel Physical Therapist to fulfill an immediate contract vacancy for an exceptional hospital based out of Little River, SC.

·      13 weeks NO ONCALL

·      Start date 05-03

·      Shift: Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm OR Mon / Tues / Thurs / Fri 7am 7:30 pm

·      Total Gross Weekly Pay: $2646

·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·      This is a Hospital-based outpatient physical therapy department with a main location in Little River, SC that treats orthopedics and general PT. We are based outside of Myrtle Beach, so we have a large tourist community with lots of activities.

·      We are looking for a physical therapist that is comfortable evaluating and treating general outpatient physical therapy and geriatric populations.

·      Treatments are performed as ordered in a safe, timely manner. Staff and family members are involved in the treatment when indicated.

·      Medical documentation is in accordance with APTA standards of care.

·      Attends and takes part in services, meetings, and educational sessions.

·      Assists in adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in caseload in the department.

·      Evaluates patients referred for P.T., utilizing specialized testing procedures and skills, incorporating data from the medical records and assessing the patients strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, etc. and Rehab. Correlates data from the evaluation to determine individualized physical therapy plan of care as directed towards short and long term goals.

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·      2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience.

·      Must have PT License in South Carolina and AHA BLS certification required.
