Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) - The position is located at an outpatient facility, providing therapy services to patients. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring patient progress towards discharge. The candidate will serve as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues, and will be responsible for maintaining compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; at least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; valid state licensure in good standing; ability to complete all required continuing education.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently at outpatient sites; proficiency in clinical reasoning and documentation.
• Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops treatment goals, documents medical records accurately, and ensures care delivery aligns with signed physician orders and insurance requirements. Provides supervision and mentorship to students and fosters professional growth through ongoing education. Demonstrates commitment to safety, including patient handling, infectious disease precautions, and slip/trip prevention. Maintains adherence to all organizational policies, regulatory standards, and professional codes of conduct.
