Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) The outpatient physical therapist will provide evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy services for patients at an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy interventions, and educating patients to optimize their return to community activities.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; Location in the specified area; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations and developing treatment goals focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay.
• Ensures documentation of medical records is accurate, complete, and timely, including goal writing, functional assessment, and billing.
• Provides care under signed, valid physician orders and insurance approval as needed.
• Participates in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment, providing supervision, and completing evaluations.
• Actively pursues professional growth through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adheres to state practice acts and regulatory agency requirements, maintains licensure, and complies with organizational policies.
• Demonstrates awareness of performance improvement initiatives and offers feedback for quality enhancement.
