Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position in Napa, California. This outpatient role involves providing orthopedic rehabilitation services with a focus on outpatient care, working primarily Monday through Thursday, and occasionally on Fridays. The role offers opportunities to work across outpatient, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings, serving a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Hours per Week: Minimum of 40 hours.
• Experience and Qualifications: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist. Candidates with outpatient orthopedic experience are preferred, but those with acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience will also be considered. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 10-12 patients per day, including 1-3 evaluations and follow-up appointments, with appointment durations typically 30 to 45 minutes.
• Additional Requirements: Valid California license in hand. Must be willing to work the specified schedule and float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. References covering the past year are required.
• Special Skills and Experience: Experience with charting systems such as Epic, and the ability to manage a variety of clinical conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric populations, is preferred. Flexibility to work during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and to participate in orientation hours (40 hours) is expected.
