Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient position in Iowa, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting treating deconditioned, post-op, and post-hospitalization patients
• Epic EMR is used; experience preferred
• New orientation cohorts begin every Monday

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Active Iowa state PT license required at time of consideration; Iowa compact license accepted — license required if applicable
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Completed skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• At least 1 prior travel contract completed is preferred
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
• RTO during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods is limited to 1 day per window
