Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 12-week assignment offering Monday through Friday daytime hours.

Details

• Outpatient Rehabilitation department setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Travelers are expected to float within the hospital as needed
• Meditech charting system experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Copy of current Nursys report required, pulled within the last 7 days
• Two professional references required, completed within the last 2 years by a supervisor
• DOB and SSN required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across a variety of conditions including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric cases
• Completion of required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing to ensure timely clearance for start
• Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and in good standing to be eligible for return
• No mileage restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Open to first-time travelers
