Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position based in the area. This assignment is for an initial duration of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension. The role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services in a facility with variable bed capacity, primarily focusing on outpatient care. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour shifts, and offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Coverage is needed for vacation periods, including assistance for two Fridays on a half-day basis.
• Required Qualifications: Relevant and recent physical therapy experience; current Colorado Physical Therapist license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Master of Science in Physical Therapy; excellent electronic record navigation skills; willingness to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants; minimum 1 year of clinic experience; strong orthopedic skills; inpatient/acute care experience preferred; outpatient experience required; experience with Cedaron/Aptaconnnect and Meditech electronic medical records preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Additional Information: The position requires flexibility to float between outpatient and inpatient care, though outpatient care makes up approximately 80% of duties. The facility has variable bed capacity, generally less than five beds, and up to 25 beds in the care unit. Candidate must be willing to accept outpatient-only work if preferred. Scrub colors, dress code, parking details, and other operational specifics are site-dependent and to be confirmed locally.
