Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient clinical experience preferred, including evaluations and 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions.
  • Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Experience supervising or delegating discipline-specific therapy services and participating in student education preferred.
  • Commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient.
  • Shift Pattern: 4x8.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Caseload: Evaluations and treatments with 60-minute evals and treatment sessions.
  • Responsibilities: Complete comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document timely and accurately, and participate in performance improvement and student mentorship as assigned.
