Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. New graduates are considered; new grad rate referenced in client notes is preferred information only.
• Experience performing 60 minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred.
• Documentation skills including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies required.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants or students and participate in student education preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education as required by the Florida Practice Act.
