Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Candidates should have experience performing 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using electronic medical records.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Preferred: prior experience supervising students or participating in clinical education.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13 week assignment with client interest in a longer term (6 month desired).
• Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Evaluate assigned patients, develop and modify treatment plans, complete required documentation, and participate in student supervision as assigned.
