Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans and documentation of 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups as described by the client.
• Experience with documentation of letters of medical necessity, goal writing, functional quality indicators, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants, students, or support staff as appropriate.
• Knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes state-mandated continuing education per Colorado practice act.
• Preferred: Experience working in outpatient clinics with productivity expectations and familiarity with student supervision and clinical education.
