Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an ACOTE- or CAPTE-accredited program as applicable to the role.
  • Active Alabama Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required prior to start.
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. (Preferred)
  • Experience managing productivity targets and high patient volume preferred; clinic expects approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day. (Preferred)
  • Ability to work within a clinic that may double-book follow-up visits.
  • Must not be a PTA; position requires a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours; any overtime must be approved by the director.
  • Patient Population: Outpatient orthopedic.
  • Float Requirement: No floating to other facilities.
  • Travel Team Option: Opportunity to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.
