Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including evaluation and development of 60-minute eval + treatment sessions.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, write functional goals, complete documentation, and submit letters of medical necessity in compliance with payer and clinic requirements.
  • Comfort supervising and delegating to therapy assistants and students; participation in student clinical education as assigned.
  • Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Adherence to safe patient handling practices and clinic safety policies.
  • Preferred: Experience with 60-minute evaluation/treatment model and familiarity with outpatient electronic medical records.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
  • Assignment Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts) with option for 4x10s as indicated by client.
  • Patient Visit Model: 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
  • Caseload: Outpatient population requiring comprehensive evaluations, goal-directed plans, and documentation in accordance with physician orders and payer authorization.
