Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,774 per week in Waycross, GA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia Certifications: Required Certifications - Licensed PT Must-Have: - Inpatient rehab experience - Acute care rehab experience Description: Inpatient rehab therapy team with a focus on providing effective therapy to patients. The unit consists of 10 beds and has a staff of 6. Typical patient ratios are 1 therapist to 4 patients. Standard therapy gym equipment is utilized. Documentation is performed on paper, while billing is managed through an electronic medical record. Typical procedures include gait training, therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs), and assessments such as CARE and FIM. Ideal candidates should be flexible, outgoing, and able to develop rapport with patients quickly. Therapists will perform evaluations and supervise PTAs in accordance with professional standards. No weekends or on-call duties required.
