Department: Physical Therapy - Unit: Physical Therapy Magic Valley Hospital Flr 2 - # of patients treated per day: 10 to 12. 6-7 PTs working per day. - General Certification Requirements: BLS - Other Certs Required for all PT: State licensure - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Ortho-total joints, neuro- strokes, occasional brain injuries, don't see TBI; medical, and General ICU. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient: Acute Inpatient and Rehab - What areas are they required to cover: Acute Inpatient and Rehab, potentially ICU- depends on experience and need for ICU. - Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience, Okay with first time travelers. - EMR: EPIC - Is there a PT Manager/Supervisor on each shift: Manager - Do you staff Rehab Aides: PTAs?: Rehab aides and 2 PTAs. - Shifts & Scheduling: 4 10's- 0730-1800. No self scheduling. - Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends- about every 4th weekend, unless the traveler is assigned to weekends as their regular shift. - Holiday Requirements: As needed. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs permitted, must not match color of other departments. List of colors available upon hire. - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days in the department. Travelers should plan on working M-F 5 8 s to accommodate the onboarding schedule. **This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
