Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, write goals and documentation, and complete charge entry in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated competency with safe patient handling and materials handling procedures.
• Willingness to float to other nearby clinic locations as required by the client.
• Preferred: prior experience supervising students or participating in student clinical education.
