Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience required, including evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and post-operative patients.
• Experience performing 60-minute initial evaluations and delivering one-on-one treatment sessions.
• Documentation competency in electronic medical records, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, quality indicator assessments, and charge entry.
• Ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans and to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Adherence to state Practice Act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education.
• Preferred: experience precepting students or participating in student clinical education.
